PETALING JAYA, 22 FEBRUARY 2025 – A kaleidoscope of vibrant colours, fantastical designs, and boundless imagination filled the air as UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) celebrated remarkable young artists who emerged as winners at the 18th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest 2025 (DCAC) with the theme, “Your Dream Car.” More than just a competition, the DCAC is about igniting the dreams of a generation and inspiring them to envision a brighter future.
The ceremony recognised not only the incredible talent of these young artists, but also the unwavering support of their families and educators. UMWT continues to demonstrate its commitment to fostering creativity and innovation among young minds.
The Toyota DCAC is a contest that champions the power of creativity. Toyota believes in “Producing Happiness for All,” and they are committed to creating a society where people can dream of a brighter future and believe in the power of creativity as the driving force. This contest gives children a platform to express their hopes and their vision for the future, all through the lens of their dream car. It is a chance for them to not only dream big but to believe that those dreams can take shape.

This year, an overwhelming response was received across Malaysia. The response was truly inspiring, with a total of 3,243 artworks submitted. UMWT’s new initiative, a collaboration with the State Education Department, has inspired significant participation from government schools as well.
Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seksyen 5 Wangsa Maju and Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) Kepong 1 were awarded special prizes for their outstanding submissions of creative artworks. Their commitment to nurturing young talent is truly commendable. UMWT is incredibly proud to announce the following winners:
Category 1 (7 years old and younger):
- 1st Prize: Mia Lee Su Wei – Happiness Express
- 2nd Prize: Wong Lii Enn – Cool Rescue Car
- 3rd Prize: Aryan Ayden Mark – Pioneering The Future, Honoring Mother Nature
Category 2 (8-11 years old):
- 1st Prize: Wong Jing Xuan – Breezy Bunny Car
- 2nd Prize: Wong Ean Jun – My Space Car
- 3rd Prize: Agnes Yoon Li Xin – Futuristic Mobility Living Car
Category 3 (12-15 years old):
- 1st Prize: Kaylyn Lim – Traveling To Dimensions
- 2nd Prize: Zeti Nurhumaira Harumi – My Cyber Future Royal Blue Car
- 3rd Prize: Ng Jin Xuan – An Incredible Sport Car
The top 3 artworks from each category will be submitted for the World Contest in Japan, in which they will compete against other young artists around the globe.
The World Contest judging will take place from April to June 2025, and the announcement of the global winners will take place in August 2025.
