THREE LUCKY ‘BLINKS’ WON AN ULTIMATE TREAT OF A LIFETIME TO MEET BLACKPINK IN KOREA!

After a long eight-week search through a nationwide roadshow in the search for Malaysia’s biggest BLACKPINK fans, Naza Kia Malaysia, the official distributor of Kia vehicles in Malaysia, selected three lucky winners to meet the sensational South Korean girl group BLACKPINK in Korea!

 

Winners of the ‘Kia BLACKPINK WANNA BE’ global contest will soon be on their way to Seoul on an all-expense paid trip for two inclusive of accommodation, flight tickets, Seoul city tour and exclusive passes to meet and greet the ‘Girl Crush’ concept quartet, BLACKPINK who performed chart-topping hits including “Ddu-du Ddu-Du” and “Kill This Love” at an exclusive by-invitation only Kia Special Party held at Kia BEAT360. These lucky BLINKS will also be watching the Melon Music Awards 2019 live at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul and a Korean culture class to experience the ‘Korean wave’ from Korea’s oldest traditions to the latest K-pop hit.

Out of all the entries received, only 10 participants was selected to perform at the grand finale on 2nd November 2019 at Sunway Pyramid, Bandar Sunway. From the youngest finalist aged 12 to the oldest, a 29 years old male participant tried their best to impress the judges. The most outstanding performances that has caught the eye of the judges was Wadi Ridhzuwan bin Mohd Rasli, 29, Angeline Goh Xuan Huew, 16 and Nur Emylia binti Muhd Syafiq Chu,16.

Those who submitted their entry stood a chance to be in the running to win the ultimate BLACKPINK experience. To be eligible for the contest, each participant must record themselves dressing, singing and dancing like their favourite BLACKPINK member, post the video on their Facebook or Instagram and submit their entry at the page provided.

 

The collaboration between Kia Motors Corporation and BLACKPINK is one of many aimed at establishing a closer connection to the younger generation through new K-Pop-inspired outreach activations.
