Public Service Vehicle (PSV) is a vocational driving license that allows a driver to drive any type of e-hailing vehicle carrying passenger. E-hailing partner-drivers are required to obtain a PSV license before starting their journey as e-hailing driver and this is a compulsory vocational license for such drivers. There are potential E-hailing drivers who are facing difficulty in finding where can obtain their PSV license.
Potential partner-drivers may visit to the nearest driving schools to take their PSV courses. Maxim E-hailing collaborates with several driving schools throughout Malaysia; which shall benefit the potential partner-drivers to reserve slot for the said license. There will be one day training class during which the driving instructor will be covering few topics that are related with clients, financial, guideline and traffic rules. The main purpose of the class is to ensure that the Partner-drivers understand about traffic rules and the e-hailing industry.
Medical check-up is also compulsory for the Partner-drivers who would like to apply for the PSV license, this is because the Transport Ministry wants to ensure that all Partner-drivers are in a good health condition for providing the e-hailing service to the public.
In order to apply for the PSV license, there are certain documents that are required to be prepared by the Partner-drivers to be submitted to JPJ. Here is the checklist
a. Original MyKad/passport of applicants or copies if the transaction is done by representatives
b. Original Competent Driving License (CDL) must be valid more than one (1) year.
c. Medical Check-up
d. 1 color photo (white background) with dimension of 25 mm x 32 mm
e. JPJL8A Form
f. JPJL12 Form
g. JPJL2C Certificate
To show support to partner-drivers, Maxim E-hailing is reimbursing the cost of PSV license for the potential Partner-drivers who are willing to work with Maxim E-hailing. Partner-drivers, are required to bring the receipt to the nearest office of Maxim E-hailing and our wonderful support staff will guide the Partner-drivers to claim the cost of PSV license.
