JOHOR – 20 December 2024 – Castrol, a global leader in advanced lubricant technology, proudly celebrates the Castrol POWER1 Honda Yuzy Racing Team’s podium finish at the penultimate round of the MAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship, held at Bandar Medini Iskandar, Johor, on 8 and 9 November 2024.
Md Haziq Md Hamdan clinched an impressive third-place finish in the CP125 category at Bandar Medini Iskandar, showcasing his determination and the power of Castrol POWER1. This podium finish marked a standout achievement in the 2024 season for the Castrol POWER1 Honda Yuzy Racing Team, reflecting their relentless pursuit of excellence on the track.
Throughout the season, the Castrol POWER1 Honda Yuzy Racing Team has been strengthened by strong performances from both Md Haziq Md Hamdan and Md Idlan Haqimi Raduan. Building on his strong showing earlier in the season, Md Haziq Md Hamdan delivered another solid result in the final round at Stadium Batu Kawan, Penang, on 23 and 24 November 2024. He finished ninth with a time of 13’47.532s, securing 53 points and placing 13th overall for the season.
Meanwhile, Md Idlan Haqimi Raduan also displayed commendable performances throughout the season. In the final round at Stadium Batu Kawan, he recorded a grid time of 54.061s and finished fifth in the race with a time of 13’38.112s, earning 28 points and placing 17th overall for the season.
The impressive performances of both riders highlight the essential role of Castrol POWER1 in optimizing the team’s machines for peak performance, allowing them to consistently deliver strong results.
