KUALA LUMPUR, 31 July 2025 – Effective 1 July 2025, Michelin has appointed Florentin Odenwald as the new Managing Director for Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei, replacing Prichapakorn Dangrojana, who has taken on a new role with the group in France. With a strong background in commercial strategy, Odenwald brings a global perspective shaped by years of experience across international markets.
Prior to this role, Odenwald served as Executive Vice President of Global Automotive OE Sales, overseeing over 25 global customers and contributing as a key member of the Group’s Automotive Executive Committee. Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in fostering brand collaborations, building global partnerships, driving technical innovation, and leading strategic growth with brands such as Porsche, Mercedes‑AMG, BMW, Volkswagen, Hyundai, and Tesla.
In his new role, Odenwald will oversee Michelin’s strategic direction, operations, and growth across the three markets. He will also focus on advancing innovation and enhancing customer and stakeholder relationships while continuing his service as part of Michelin’s regional leadership team for the Asia-Pacific region.
