inDrive Distributes 3,000 Bubur Lambuk to Frontliners and Communities Across Kuala Lumpur This Ramadan

Kuala Lumpur, 17 March 2026 – In the spirit of giving during the holy month of Ramadan, inDrive, the global mobility platform, distributed 3,000 portions of bubur lambuk to frontline workers and communities in Kuala Lumpur, bringing a traditional Ramadan favourite to those serving and supporting the city every day.

The community initiative saw inDrive working alongside its driver partners to deliver the warm meals across the city, including government hospitals, Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) homes, Ramadan bazaars, and Bomba quarters.

The effort was especially meaningful with the involvement of inDrive’s driver partners, who volunteered their time to help distribute the meals to nearby neighbourhoods. Beyond their daily role transporting passengers, driver partners took part in the initiative as a way to give back to the communities they serve. The programme also served as an opportunity to strengthen connections between inDrive’s driver partners and local communities, highlighting the role they play beyond mobility services.

As someone who works closely with our driver partners every day, I see firsthand the dedication they bring to serving the community. Ramadan is a time of reflection, generosity and togetherness. Through this initiative, we wanted to share that spirit while recognising both the communities and frontline workers who contribute so much to the city,” said Azlan Anwar, Driver Operations Manager, inDrive Malaysia.

As a platform committed to fairness, inclusivity and equality, inDrive remains dedicated to supporting communities in Malaysia through accessible mobility solutions while contributing to positive social impact.
