Dongfeng Motor Corporation today announced the expansion of its electric vehicle portfolio in the Malaysian market with the introduction of two new models — the Dongfeng 007 electric sedan and the Dongfeng VIGO electric SUV.
The latest expansion marks a new phase in Dongfeng’s Malaysia journey, as Volt Auto partners with Central Auto Distributors Bhd to introduce next-generation electric vehicles designed for modern lifestyles, intelligent performance, and everyday usability, in line with Malaysia’s growing adoption of electric mobility.
As part of the launch, Dongfeng is offering an extended ownership package for both the Dongfeng 007 and Dongfeng VIGO, which includes a free ABB wall box, a six-year vehicle warranty with unlimited mileage, and an eight-year powertrain warranty with unlimited mileage.
Dongfeng 007: A Next-Generation Electric Sedan
Leading this new phase is the Dongfeng 007, a next-generation electric sedan engineered for drivers who value performance, bold design, and advanced technology. Defined by its sleek liftback silhouette and futuristic design language, the Dongfeng 007 represents Dongfeng’s vision for modern electric sedans — combining speed, intelligence, and everyday usability.

Dongfeng VIGO: A Lifestyle-Driven Electric SUV
Making its Malaysian debut alongside the 007 is the Dongfeng VIGO, created to support everyday life, family needs, and active lifestyles. Built for daily commutes and weekend escapes, the VIGO offers generous interior space within a compact SUV footprint.
The Dongfeng VIGO is expected to be priced from RM100,000 (after special launch discount of RM8,888).
Dongfeng Ambassador Search
To mark its entry into Malaysia, Dongfeng will also launch a Dongfeng Ambassador Search, inviting Malaysians from all walks of life to become part of the brand’s journey. Three ambassadors will be selected, each receiving:
