Kuala Lumpur, 18 December 2025 – Global mobility platform inDrive announced the successful completion of the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD)’s three-month licensing review, confirming its continued approval to operate in Malaysia. The announcement was made alongside the 2025 Platinum Drivers Awards, where the company recognised Malaysia’s top-performing drivers for their exceptional dedication, service quality, and community contribution across Klang Valley, Penang, and Johor Bahru.
The awards ceremony marked the finale of the nationwide Platinum Drivers Giveaway. Over 150 top-tier drivers gathered for the celebration, making it inDrive Malaysia’s largest driver recognition event to date.

This year’s 1st-place winner completed an impressive 857 rides during the one-month campaign period, standing out among thousands of active Platinum drivers nationwide. The campaign also recorded an encouraging average 7% rise in completed rides, reflecting strong driver engagement throughout the challenge.
inDrive Receives APAD’s Confirmation to Continue Operations
At the ceremony, inDrive formally announced that it has successfully completed APAD’s mandatory three-month review period, receiving official confirmation to continue its operations in Malaysia. inDrive highlighted its ongoing efforts to uphold all operational and regulatory requirements in Malaysia. The company emphasized continuous improvements in internal processes, strengthened document management, and constructive engagement with the relevant authorities to support safe and reliable service delivery.
