Kuala Lumpur, 13th October 2025 – BMW Group Malaysia today reaffirmed its support for the Malaysian government’s commitment to sustainability, as the chairman of ASEAN 2025. The Malaysian government’s fleet throughout the year is supported by premium electric vehicles from BMW Group Malaysia.
The addition of the BMW i7 xDrive60 M Sport and the BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport to the government’s fleet during the ASEAN 2025 aligns with Malaysia’s National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR), while providing a strong model for other ASEAN Member States to pursue similar sustainable pathways and collaborations – directly supporting the Chairmanship’s theme of “Inclusivity and Sustainability.”
