Given the latest announcement by the Malaysian government on the implementation of the Controlled Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, and Selangor, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia will take the following measures with Mercedes-Benz Star Shield from 14th October 2020 to 27th October 2020:

  • All Mercedes-Benz authorized dealers nationwide will remain open for business as usual during this period adhering to all guidelines set by the government.
  • All test drives, routine service and maintenance and/or repairs will be carried out as usual with stringent SOPs in place.
  • Service24h Roadside Assistance will remain operational for emergency breakdown and technical issues.

The Mercedes-Benz Star Shield programme is a safety protocol for our dealers and customers. It consists of a comprehensive safety plan that includes the provision of masks and hand sanitizers, cleaning and sanitization of showroom cars and common areas, temperature checks and limited customers per entry.

In order to minimize social contact, the Mercedes-Benz Star Shield also includes initiatives such as the Drop & Go, Door-to-door and Express Service. As we ride through this pandemic, the health, welfare, and safety of our employees and customers continue to remain a top priority. We encourage all our customers to book their service or test-drives online and follow SOPs at all times.

Should there be any emergencies or query relating to the vehicle during this period, kindly contact 1-800-88-1133 or visit www.mercedes-benz.com.my.
