Mitsubishi Motors Opens New Showroom in Bintulu, Sarawak

Kuala Lumpur, 24 June 2019 – Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), the official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in Malaysia, together with authorized dealer Auto Pacifica Sdn Bhd celebrated the opening of a new Mitsubishi Motors 3S Centre (Sales, Service & Spare parts) in Bintulu, Sarawak recently.

Auto Pacifica is the first showroom in Sarawak with Mitsubishi Motors’ new corporate brand; represented by its global tagline ‘Drive Your Ambition’ and the second Mitsubishi Motors 3S showroom in Bintulu, Sarawak.

With a built up area of 3,000 square feet, the new 3S Centre houses a customer lounge, and a fully-equipped workshop capable of servicing up to three Mitsubishi cars with parts storage area. The 3S centre comes with fully equipped advance diagnostic tools and Special Set Tools (SST) to serve every Mitsubishi vehicle.

I would like to thank Auto Pacifica, a member of Samling Strategic Corporation Sdn Bhd, for its continuous support, making Triton the top two pick-up in Sarawak with 20.9% market share,” said Tomoyuki Shinnishi, Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia.

With the opening of Auto Pacifica, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) is now represented by 54 showrooms (out of which 48 are 3S Centres) and 55 service outlets throughout Malaysia. In East Malaysia, MMM is represented by 15 showrooms (7 in Sarawak and 8 in Sabah).

The Triton 4×4 pick-up truck are imported as CBU (Completely Built-Up) units from Thailand while the ASX Compact SUV and Outlander are locally assembled (CKD) in Malaysia.
