MINI, the most sophisticated compact premium automotive brand in Malaysia, today introduced the exclusive MINI 60 Years Edition to commemorate six decades of iconic design and thrilling go-kart handling.

Limited to only 60 units in Malaysia, the MINI 60 Years Edition is a one-of-a-kind collector’s model that is packed full of exclusive features, design and innovation. The exclusive MINI 60 Years features the anniversary-specific Bonnet Stripes, Logo Projection, Door Sill, Walknappa Leather Steering Wheel, Leather Lounge in Dark Maroon, Interior Surface and the exclusive 17-inch light alloy wheels in the version 60 Years Spoke 2-tone with run-flat tyres.
The MINI 60 Years Edition: Reigniting Passion.
The MINI 60 Years Edition is exclusively available in Malaysia in the MINI Cooper S 3 Door variant, featuring the New British Racing Green with Pepper White roof and mirror caps. Alternatively, the exclusive model will also be available in ‘Melting Silver’ with Jet Black roof and mirror caps. Signature black bonnet stripes with Aspen White and British Oak pinstripes further underline the MINI 60 Years Edition’s exclusivity.
In conjunction with the 60 Years Chili equipment package, the MINI 60 Years Edition features LED headlights, LED fog lamps, white turn indicators and LED rear lights in the Union Jack design. The exclusive side scuttle badging, which bears the anniversary model’s distinctive 60 years insignia, provides great individuality, while the logo projection shines majestically from the exterior mirror. The rear spoiler accentuates the characteristics of the MINI 60 Years Edition. Exclusive 17-inch light alloy wheels in the 60 Years Spoke 2-tone style rounds off the distinct look of the exclusive vehicle.
The MINI 60 Years Edition boasts a two-litre four-cylinder MINI TwinPower Turbo engine capable of accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in merely 6.7 seconds. Complete with a 7-speed DCT Steptronic Sports Transmission, the MINI 60 Years Edition generates 192hp and a peak torque of 280Nm. The exclusive model has a top speed of 235km/h, while consuming only 5.5 litres of fuel per 100km and emits 125 g/km of CO2. Sports Suspension settings designed for performance-oriented driving also conveys the thrill of the iconic MINI go-kart handling.
Inside, the MINI 60 Years Edition features an elegant hand stitched MINI Yours Walknappa Leather sport steering wheel bearing the 60 Years insignia on the lower spoke. The insignia also adorns the front door entry strips for added character. Stunning leather upholstery available in the exclusive MINI Yours Lounge 60 Years Dark Maroon is complemented by bold stitching, paying tribute to MINI’s heritage in craftsmanship. The new high resolution 6.5-inch Touch Screen Display with Navigation in the MINI Centre Instrument now houses state-of-the-art technology and puts a wealth of navigation information at the driver’s fingertips.
The MINI 60 Years Edition also features the interior lighting package, on-board computer, automatic climate control air conditioning, rain sensor and storage compartment package on board. The MINI Driving Modes in Green, Mid and Sport are also available in the MINI 60 Year Edition for a customisable driving experience. Additionally, the MINI Excitement Package allows the driver creative control of the vehicle’s ambient lighting to up to 12 colour choices.
Standard interior equipment for the MINI 60 Years Edition come in the form of a rear-view camera and interior rear-view mirror with auto anti-dazzle function, exquisite velour floor mats, sports seats for both the driver and front passenger along with height adjustment for the latter. A child seat ISOFIX attachment maximises safety when travelling as a family.
Offering extensive connectivity capabilities and personalised services, MINI Connected features Intelligent Emergency Call, Teleservices, MINI Online and Remote Services. Also featured in the MINI 60 Years Edition is the wireless Apple CarPlay. Intelligent integration of the driver’s iPhone to the vehicle’s built-in display enables the driver to get directions, make calls, send and receive messages, and listen to music.
