KOTA BHARU, 9 March 2026 – In the spirit of Ramadan, Maxim E-hailing Malaysia Kelantan shared the joy of the holy month with 35 students and teachers from Maahad Tahfiz Al Quran Darul Quwwah through a special iftar gathering and a contribution of transportation assistance valued at RM300. The initiative reflects Maxim’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes.
This initiative forms part of Maxim Malaysia’s nationwide Ramadan CSR campaign aimed at uplifting local communities and supporting educational institutions during the holy month. Through meaningful engagements such as this iftar gathering, Maxim seeks to embody the values of Ramadan by promoting generosity, compassion, and togetherness.
Maxim Malaysia presented a mock cheque worth RM300 to the school representatives, providing practical support for transportation needs. This contribution ensured that the community could easily manage daily errands and coordinate essential supplies, allowing them to focus on learning and spiritual activities during Ramadan.
Following this, the event created a warm and welcoming atmosphere as the Maxim team shared an iftar meal with the students and teachers. The programme also included a friendly engagement session and a group photo to commemorate the occasion. As the Maghrib call to prayer approached, food packs were distributed, allowing everyone to share in the spiritual joy and togetherness of breaking their fast.
“We would like to sincerely thank Maxim for celebrating with us and sponsoring food and drinks for our Iftar at Maahad Tahfiz Al Quran Darul Quwwah. We are very happy and grateful for this meaningful support,” said Ustaz Muhammad Zulhilmi, a teacher at Maahad Tahfiz Al Quran Darul Quwwah.
“This is the first time an e-hailing company has come to our place and provided free rides for us. It has made it much easier for us to go out and purchase kitchen appliances. We truly appreciate this initiative and hope this wonderful programme can continue again next year,” he added.
A representative from Maxim Malaysia said, “Ramadan is a time for compassion, generosity, and togetherness. We hope our contribution brings joy and practical support to the school.”
Through initiatives such as this, Maxim Malaysia continues to strengthen its nationwide CSR footprint by championing acts of kindness and providing tangible support to communities in need throughout the Ramadan season.
