Kuala Lumpur, 2 July 2025 – In a landmark movement for sustainable luxury mobility in Malaysia, Hap Seng Trucks Distribution (HSTD) – the authorised distributor of Mercedes-Benz Vans – presented the New Mercedes-Benz EQV 300 in an exclusive media showcase. This marks the model’s first official reveal under HSTD’s stewardship and introduces Malaysians to the latest evolution of the all-electric MPV in its AVANTGARDE specification.
The refreshed EQV 300 has been reimagined for modern mobility, blending elegant design, intelligent digital integration, and next-generation electric performance. The AVANTGARDE line enhances the vehicle’s visual identity with adaptive MULTIBEAM LED headlights, and a sleek chrome trim with Mercedes-Benz lettering at the rear. New 17in alloy wheels and refined paint selections underscore its premium, executive presence.
Inside, the EQV 300 delivers a lounge-like experience with dual 12.3-inch widescreens, redesigned air vents, capacitive-touch steering controls, and ambient lighting with 64 colour options. Coupled with Burmester® surround sound system brings exciting surround sound into your vehicle with an excellently tuned amplifier and speaker system. Together, the 15 loudspeakers and bass reflex box achieve an output of 640 W. An impressive sound is delivered to every seat thanks to the multichannel surround sound technology. Thoughtfully appointed with Lugano leather upholstery, and powered sliding doors on both sides, the interior prioritises comfort and function for both drivers and passengers.

Underpinned by a 90 kWh usable lithium-ion battery and powered by a front-mounted electric motor producing 150 kW (204 PS) and 365 Nm of torque, the EQV 300 offers an electric range of up to 418 km (NEDC). It supports AC charging at up to 11 kW and DC fast-charging at up to 110 kW, enabling 10–80% charging in approximately 40 minutes. With 4 selectable driving modes including Comfort, Sport, Eco, and Maximum Range (ECO+), and a top speed of 160 km/h, the EQV balances refinement with responsiveness.
Safety remains a cornerstone of the Mercedes-Benz brand, and the EQV 300 is equipped with a full suite of advanced driver assistance features. These include Active Brake Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Tyre Pressure Monitoring, ATTENTION Assist, equipped with driver and front passenger airbags,including thorax-pelvis, centre with curtain airbags. Parking Package with 360° camera and Active Parking Assist makes it easier for you to find a parking space.
In line with Malaysia’s National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR), the EQV 300 reflects Mercedes-Benz’s role in shaping a more responsible automotive future.
To celebrate the model’s arrival, HSTD is offering an exclusive introduction package for customers that includes a complimentary Mercedes-Benz Wallbox charger, three years of free schedule maintenance service, and a special RM10,000 booking rebate. The EQV 300 is also supported by a two-year vehicle warranty (or 200,000 km, whichever comes first), while its high-voltage battery is covered for eight years or up to 160,000 km whichever first.
