Malaysia Day is an important holiday for every country resident, since it is associated with the unification of the existing states of Malaysia into a single federation. For the purpose of maintaining the unity of the federation and raising the national spirit of the people, Maxim E-hailing organized a series of events in Seremban, Sibu, Kinabalu, Bintulu, Kuantan, Labuan, Tawau, Taiping and Miri.
Representatives of the Maxim service visited orphanages, tahfiz schools and shelters in Miri, Tawau, Sibu and Serembang, handing out food packages, basic necessities and souvenirs. They also gave out balloons to the children to cheer them up.
In Bandar Labuan, our drivers cleaned the streets of garbage, painted markings on playgrounds, competed in a tug of war, held a contest for the best painting coloring and organized zumba for everyone.
The entertainment activities for residents of Kuantan, Sibu, Miri, Tawau, Taiping, Seremban and Bintulu included motorcycle and car rallies. Drivers in branded vehicles drove along the city streets, stopping to take pictures with those who wanted to.
“I am happy to be part of Maxim and participate in such events, as they bring joy and happiness to everyone around. Team spirit and a sense of unity — that’s what I feel during the parade,” says a driver of the Maxim service in Malaysia.
