The All-New Volkswagen Tiguan – Now Open for Booking from RM149K to RM169K


Kuala Lumpur, 1 March 2017 – Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) is now accepting pre-bookings for the all-new Volkswagen Tiguan. The locally-assembled all-new Tiguan is expected to be priced between RM149,000 and RM169,000 when it launches in a few weeks.

As an added bonus for interested buyers, VPCM is offering a limited early-bird special of RM7,000 off the all-new Tiguan.

As a winner of the German Design Awards 2017, the all-new Tiguan impresses with its completely new and elegant design that radiates power and authority. Longer, wider and lower in height compared to its predecessor, the resulting look is a striking SUV profile with distinctive proportions and a very dynamic design.

Two attractive model variants are offered, the Comfortline and Highline.  Under the hood of both variants is a new 1.4L TSI turbocharged direct and multiport injection engine that is paired with a 6-speed wet clutch direct shift gearbox (DSG), giving an impressive output of 150PS and a torque of 250Nm between 1,500 to 3,500rpm. Officially recognized as an Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV), the all-new Tiguan comes with superior fuel efficiency of 6.7l/100km*.

Within its smartly-designed interior, the all-new Tiguan comes with the same luxurious comforts found in Volkswagen’s other premium models, such as the Active Info Display, 8-inch Discover Media infotainment system, and 3-zone Climatatronic.

Five colours will be available – Pure White, Deep Black, Atlantic Blue, Tungsten Silver and Indium Grey.

Malaysians eager to get up close to the all-new Tiguan and place a booking are invited to make their way to the Volkswagen Sales Tour happening at the New Wing of 1 Utama Shopping Centre from today, 1 March 2017 till 5 March 2017, where the all-new Tiguan will be on display.

Bookings on the all-new Tiguan can also be made at any authorized Volkswagen dealer nationwide.
